I read about the Oslo Opera House in The New
Yorker article, "The Psychology of Space, " about the Snohetta architecture firm. There was snow on the roof and I had to step over a token warning chain and take
careful steps up the slanting white marble roof.
Nature on nature, snow on stone. A thrilling visit. More than any other building I have ever visited, the Oslo Opera House gave me a strong desire to experience the psychology of this space through the seasons of the year.
